What a weird game. England came out so well. Sweden played well too but England dominated. Then at half time the coaches ordered them to go into a defensive shell - a complete loss of courage - and it almost cost them the game (not to mention made the game difficult to watch). Beckham seemed to be sleep walking through the whole game.

I'm really disappointed with the coaching staff on this one. The players and the fans deserved better

Interrerting game. Sweden proved to the fans and press at home that they actually can score goals again. Even if the last one by Larsson was possibly the unsexiest goal in the history of the World Cup.

Pfft. You were whipped long parts of the 2nd half, and we could have had 2 or 3 more in on our corners.

On the other hand, we were whipped for the morepart of the first half, so I'd say it's a fair result. At least you don't have to get your asses kicked by the krauts...yet.
