Works dashboard bat chart icon thingy?

Hi, I am new to this site and have only posted one story. Wondered if anyone knew what the bar chart icon thing relates to underneath my story within the works section of my profile. It has 14k next to it, surely it can't mean that 14000 people have read my story can it?
