Working Towards the 1000th

Okay, you all know me. What should I do?

I'm finally getting close to earning that dubious distinction of naming myself (or at least having the ability to do so). Above are my thoughts, but...

Certainly, I've been thinking and dreaming about this for a year, but I believe it's difficult to know one's self as well as others might. So, help me out here. What? Who? Where? should I be? Do you care? Does it matter?

Originally, I was thinking of something kind of truthful:
Continually embarassed by my ego

But then I found out there's a 25 charater limit (darn!).
So, that meant that:

The batteries are here somewhere...
and
Have you checked my panties?
were out, right off.

Then I thought of the word thread and found:

perspicacious - having keen judgement, vision or understanding.

(Yeah, that's me - right? Okay, Killermuffin, quit smirking, damn it).

Okay, fine. I'll just post a poll and let everyone vote and pick that. You know, just like WickedEve or Lauren or...I guess everyone does that, huh? But I had 16 suggestions and the polls only take 10 of them. (Geez, this is getting harder than I thought it would.) Okay, okay, I can edit. So, above are the ten edited ones, but you guys...you know me better. Steer me right!

Have fun with it. You know I always look for the twist and the humorous lining in our dark clouds.

I like the "Good Vibrations." Classic Beach Boys crossed with a pocket rocket. "Hang 10 Haiku" is fun, but more for a poem title.

Nah, I do like bats for both teams. It carries at least the sound of "batteries included" with and depending on the size of the bat also "pocket-rocket".

You could also try surfing on a bat. Thus "bats for both teams" includes all of the above.

I would have been hurt had I been deb\prived of these threads. Our community of poets remains kind of small, and I think we should stick together. For myself, I don't read the general board... they kind of creep me out... I think it is perfectly justified for a poetry board regular to come to the poetry board for suggestions!
