The time has come for me to get off my lazy butt and start getting back in to shape. This will serve as a place to help track my progress.

Will you all help keep me motivated?

Yesterday was day 1...

Looking good so far. I can't imagine how your curves could get any better.

I am going to say this, I will help keep you motivated if you are doing this because you want to be healthy. However, I want you to know, your body is beautiful now just the way it is.

Thank you all. In the past 3 years I have put on 35-40 lbs. My overall goal is to go from a size 14/16 to a size 8/10, or to lose roughly 30 lbs. Id love to do this by Memorial Day. That gives me 19 weeks.

Already quite excited at seeing the progress, though hope the tits remain as big.....

First and foremost regardless of your age...your eating must change. It needs to be a lifestyle and not a diet

Yes. I lost weight a few years ago by counting calories, but I'm going to do that along with eating better this time. The older I get, the more I need to get healthier. I'm excited to start cooking a lot more :)

The first 2 pictures are from yesterday. No sucking in or trying to get flattering angles...

The second is a few years ago when I was about 25 lbs lighter than I am now.

The third is also a few years ago when I was 45 lbs lighter than I am now.

Btw, I forgot to mention that I am adding working out after work in to my routine as well.

One thing every picture here has in common. You look amazing! I understand the desire for self improvement and wish you luck, but know that you are gorgeous as you are. :)

Though I think you look devine, I understand the desire to exercise. A good method to maintain motivation, is to sign up for a run or two, or better yet, a mini-triathlon. Mini-T's are great to get a good overall exercise. Besides, you have to train for them....we must have a goal. Good luck in your endeavors.

With the proper diet and ample physical activity, you can certainly get down to your desired weight target. But don't rush it -- set modest weekly goals and don't starve yourself -- eat healthy portions without going overboard. I'll look forward to seeing your "unclothed" progress ... ;) Good luck!

Thank you everyone. I miss being in better shape, so it's time to get back to it!
