I would like to hear from other writers interested in forming a working group to meet once a month.
Goals:
Networking and association. Being able to ask questions and improve our understanding of lifestyles different from our own would greatly improve our ability to develop characters and dialog.
Social. Making new friends greatly improves our mental stability and quality of life. Assisting each other with editing and development improves our skills as writers.
Experimental. The group would set goals and challenges aimed at not only improving our writing skills, but perhaps also expanding our understanding of kinks, fetishes, and lifestyles for the creation of better erotica. For some members it could be as simple as interviewing experts in aspects of sexual practices they are unfamiliar with. Others may decide to 'take the plunge' in a fetish they have always wanted to try.
Each month individuals would report progress on the projects they are working on and receive supportive feedback from the group. I was thinking that it would be best to keep the group under twelve people.
Is this something any of you would be interested in?
