Who says work is not supposed to be fun?
If I had to spend that many hours of my life doing something I didn't have fun doing, I'd go crazy. I like my job. It has its moments just like any other, and whole stretches of horrible stress. But, overall, I like it. And we have fun as much as possible.

Finally, once in my life I do. Probably because I am my own boss. I pick my hours, work habits, etc......Of course I could starve, but I'm in charge.

I've said before, I design homes, mostly large upscale ones.
I love the design part, making all the pieces fit and flow together but the actual details, dimensions, etc, can get old pretty fast. But yeah, I like what I do.
Will be away for a few days. I recently drew the plans for a 4 -plex to be built to be used as emergency housing for families in crisis. It is going to be built with volenteer labor and I'm going to play carpenter for a few days. I'll be back Tuesday.

I am unemployed right now, starting a new job with as a restaurant manager in a few weeks. I enjoy meeting people & working in a restaurant is never dull. Until I start the new job, I am being lazy, surfing the internet & spending time with friends.
