There are some words I like the sound of, or the feel of on my tongue or even because I enjoy the complexity of their meaning. A few of them are

Ironic--because it is not easily defined

Spatula--something about the way it slips over the tongue and lips a mixture of hard and soft sounds

Uvula--seriously, how this is not a dirty word is beyond me

What words do you like? Why?

asphalt because so many say ASHphalt, and I can't understand why.

affidavit because it is also often mispronounced, and no...I am not being a pronunciation maniac, I love that it is :)

I like the phrase "various and sundry" and there is no rhyme or reason for that either.

Here are two that I like:

articulate~it always makes a sentence sound more intelligent.

caress~makes touching sound far more pleasant and sensual.

hmmmmmmm "various and sundry" it feels sultry to say :D

articulate and caress---thinking of ways to use the two words in a sentence reminds me of oral sex. . . . just sayin :D

That is a great way to articulate what you want or would like to have caressed.

silhouette

now there is a word that makes me think of having sex in an ancient street in rome--a light rain and only the illumination from the windows above cascading down the ancient stones of the medieval buildings

some words I learned from D that make me smile would be

fankle and blootered :)

Blootered I especially like

Fankle = tangled

Blootered = drunk :)

callypigious---one of my favorites---it is such an innocuous words which makes the meaning feel kinda secret
