Words, words, words.

If it's a story, I'll just bust out with www.m-w.com and then move on with my life. Although generally I'm typing in Word who will often correct it without my looking, so I never learn the right way to spell it.

However, if I'm in IM or rushing through an email any uncertainty about the spelling of the word will lead me to choose a new one.

Now prompted for one, I'm completely at a loss for what it might be, but I do know that there are some fairly common words that I just can't remember the spelling for. I saw one that I have trouble with on here... ecstasy. I always want to put an X in there. I wonder why.
