Words that make you feel weird

Are there any words that make you feel uncomfortable, creepy or grossed out?

There are certain words that I try to avoid saying out loud because I don’t like the way they sound.

I HATE the words:

Sausages
Nuggets (EWW)
Cluster
Blob

On the other hand I love the word ‘melancholy’ it’s so beautiful and fragile, somehow.

I totally get this, it’s far too familiar - don’t go somewhere that you’ve not been invited. I’m always very careful with these things because you’re right, I can see how it would just creep someone out.

On your overall question.. I feel like there must be so many of these! Glug and gurgle come to mind (especially with my accent ), but I’m sure there are glaringly unpleasant ones that I’m missing. I may well report back with further insights!
