Wordle

Beware, Beware, Beware!

Something there is about this site (Wordle) that doesn't love my operating system...

I went to FAQs and found the question about the big gray rectangle. So I downloaded the Java update like it said to...and when the download was allegedly complete, it kept on working. After that I couldn't get back to Wordle and I couldn't create another tab to get back to Wordle that way. So I did a system restore.

Every time I tried to download Java it would fuck up my operating system and I'd have to do a system restore.

So I went back to the Wordle site so I could complain to the guy who made it, and even though I ONLY went into the site and did NOT try to download Java again, I STILL had to do a system restore.

That's it, no Wordle for me. It's too bad, because it looked fascinating and I'd have loved to see some of the clouds and made one of my own. But I have done nothing but system restores and reboots for the last hour.

It's not worth it.

Don't you ever use java? You don't play any online games ever?

Oh, the many hours I've wasted on pogo.com over the years...

Well, I play Pogo games all the time. At least I did. I don't know what the deal is. Wait, let me see if I can still play Bejeweled...

Just played a game of Bejeweled 2 successfully. So it must be something other than Java that's the problem. I use Active X for other things. Must be something else about the site itself. The last time all I had to do was even go there and things started acting weird.
