Just joined this site and wondering where a person can post thier written work for all to read?
A sexual theme and quite lengthy but could be put into chapters...........

Typical length of time for the moderators to approve or reject the story is 3-7 days. First time authors may be a day or two longer.

There's also a themed contest going on. Themed contest stories get priority, so that may add time.

Oh, and on Lit, chapters are submitted as individual submissions.

You submit chapter 1, then start a new submission for chapter 2, so on and so forth. You add the chapter notation to the title when you submit:

My Erotic Story Ch. 01
My Erotic Story Ch. 02

Three Lit pages is about the maximum attention span of a large part of the readership. If your story goes beyond that ( I think that's about 7000 words ) and you can find logical places to break it into chapters, then it's not a bad idea, in order to maximize readership.

It's best to have the whole story complete, and submit all the chapters at one time. Lit automatically doles the chapters out one per day when you do that.
