Women's Indian fantasy...is it real?

I have heard that there is a certain percentage of white women (or non-Indian women), who have a fantasy about being captured by a half-naked Indian in buckskins, thrown on a horse, and brought to his Tipi. From there, the fantasies might be more specific to the individual.

You see this fantasy potrayed in quite a few "romance novels," but I was wondering:

Is this is a true fantasy some women have?

Would any women like to comment on it?

Would you be interested in reading an erotic story with this type of scenario, if I wrote one up?

Do you think other women would be interested also?

I've heard alot of women say this about Rodney Grant. I'm sure "Dances With Wolves" helped his love life...:D

Almost every woman harbors a fantasy at one time in her life where a man comes striding in, sweeps her off her feet, and take her to heights she can only dream of.

Sure, I would.

I have proofed stories for a couple of Lit authors, so if you would like to run a few things past me, just send a PM.

Thanks for the offer.

It might be a little while, as I'm just finishing up on a story of two young twenty-something girls in a romantic lesbian encounter. One is experienced, the other is trying it for the first time.

When I finish up with this story, (titled a "A Night To Remember" so be sure and look for if it gets approved), I think I'll work on a draft for this idea.

Thats the kind of scenario I was thinking of....:D

There are so many story lines that you could follow:

- historical where the woman is captured by the man, either because of a raid on her family's plains farm or their wagon train heading west where he saves her from being used by the other men in the raiding party only to capture her trust and makes her his

-a more modern story where she comes to the reservation as a teacher or social worker trying to make a difference. He is sullen and proud and she has to win him over when it finally dawns on him she is the one

- he is a coworker, either on a farm or even in a corporate office. She is shy and heir cultural differences seem like an obstacle but a surprise twist forces them together and they realize the attraction

- he is an associate professor at a college she either attends or teaches at where he teaches a cultures class. She attends a lecture, approaches him, and they go out for coffee to continue the discussion.

so many scenarios....the main thing is playing up the cultural and racial differences

I've always thought Native guys were HAWT. I love the strong jaw, dark golden skin, and shiny black hair.

I used to, in my earlier youth, have a lot of fantasies regarding Native AMerican guys, only because in Oklahoma I think I see a lot more than say, someone would in New York or California. :D

I'm glad you feel that way..:)

I've been to Oklahoma many times to Anadarko, Cash, Lawton, Pawnee, Stroud, Enid, Guthrie, Broken Arrow, Sapulpa, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Perry, Fairfax, White Eagle, Pawhuska, Hominy Creek, Grey Horse, etc.

Do you ever go to Pow-Wows?

BTW - Very nice pics.

*curtsey with a giggle* Thank you :D

I'm half Native American, my dad is nearly full blooded himself, so when I was little he used to take me to them ALL the time.

I loved it!

Broken Arrow and Tulsa are some pretty nice cities, huh? When was the last time you visited?

I was in Oklahoma City last year, dancing at the Red Earth Pow-Wow. I used to dance Northern Traditional, but I've been dancing Southern Straight lately.

Hello! :)

I haven't had real fantasies about native Americans but I was always interested in what we Germans were still allowed to call Indians...

Read a whole lot of novels as a child and teen, a lot of tawdry stuff I suppose, but also some novels and even documentaries about American history according to the Native Americans.

I remember that I discovered that, compared with the "victorian" way the white people thought about sex, many tribes were much more tolerant and relaxed regarding the sex life of young people?
Is that true?

If yes, that would make a very intriguing story line for me:

A young woman, almost still a girl, soon to be married who is really scared of men and "the only thing they always want" because her mother and older sisters told her she would have just to cope with "it"....

Then, in some of those incidents like they seem to have happened, she gets kidnapped by Native Americans and the tribe "adopts" her. She gets married to a (of course) handsome warrior, he discovers her angst and teaches her slowly and very erotic how to enjoy herself and him...

Ahem... Now I know what I will fantasize soon in my bed.... :D:D:D

No I have never has this fantasy but I sure have it now!!! I would definitely read your story if you wrote one up along the lines you described here.

I am about halfway thru a book on Chief Joseph and the flight of the Nez Perce. I will probably have trouble finishing it now because I am now thinking of Native Americans in a whole new light. Thanks for that.

I hate that about women.

Also, Indian would imply from India. This thread confused the shit out of me for a second. Native American.

But who says the fantasy man she dreams of cannot be the man who is already in her life? How hard is it for a man who loves his women to do a bit of a change up. I know it is not always economically feasible to book a hotel room but what about a few candles around the bedroom, some finger foods, and a bottle of inexpensive wine. He then goes to her place of employment at the end of the work day, wait for her to exit, stride up, kiss the breath out of her, and escort her home to a nice romantic evening?

Right, right, right. The simple stuff goes a long way, and you don't actually have to come riding in on a horse.

But it's just a little frustrating to know that almost every woman has the secret hope that you will be a man that you couldn't possibly ever be as long as you are to remain a human being.

But I am the wrong guy to talk to about this, I have Woody Allen complex when it comes to women, and just don't belive humans were meant for monogamy. At all.

And I have a tendency to put forth ideas hijack threads.

A few years ago I was at a dinner with some relatives and a bunch of (mostly) boring country club people they know. At some point a young woman, seated at the table with her parents, announced that she had started dating an "indian" guy. Her father, a crusty half-drunk moneyed type, looked up at her and with a puzzled look asked, "Dot or feather?".

Well the same can be said about men wanting their women to be something more than they are. Otherwise there would be no purpose or reason for plastic surgeons to exist other than post traumatic reconstructive surgery.

And Woody doesn't seem to have any issues when it comes to attracting women...that is just his movie alter ego.
