Woman hides mind control with her type A personality

So I thought it would be fun to write a mind control story where it seems debatable whether the person is actually using mind control or if they’re just the sort of person who can steamroll a conversation.

You’ve probably run into someone like that. Like someone stops you for a petition or for something on the street and 90% of the time you’d be able to tell them you’re not interested and walk on…but this person suddenly has you wrapped up in a conversation. Or maybe you’ve seen somebody who is able to be in a group project who manages to get everything they want and by the time anyone realizes you’re all most of the way done.

Something like that but in these stories the person may just be able to weaponize their personality to get what they want but maybe they actually have some mind control ability and use it while steamrolling a conversation so no one is aware of their supernatural ability.

For example: woman is enjoying her Saturday when there’s a knock on her door. The person on the other side seems to be from a church so she says she’s not interested but the other person gets a word in edgewise and soon she’s shaking their hand, sitting on her couch when instructed, and eventually fucking this stranger who she doesn’t even know the name of. Stranger leaves and woman notices the church is from an entirely different state.

Or: mom goes to confront the mother of her Son’s bully. The bully’s mom welcomes her in, steers the conversation a completely different way and by the end of the night, she’s in a three way with the bully and another woman while the bully’s mother records the whole thing. Normally submissive mom even dominates bully and the other woman and drives home shocked…only to discover the woman she slept with was the bully’s mom. The “mother” she met was someone else, who sends her a copy of the video by email and lets her know she’ll be in touch very soon.

I think that's very doable. There are people who by their very appearance and personality are incredibly seductive. Wildly handsome or beautiful, they can make eye contact and have your complete undivided attention. Their voice is soothing and somehow familiar.

"Are you married?"

"Well no, I ..."

Before she can finish her reply they are on her with a compliment. "That's surprising. Someone as lovely as you, I'd think would have a whole squad of eager suitors."

She blushes and her guard drops a little more. Then a sly smile and stroke of her hand, and she shivers as gooseflesh pops up on her arm.

I've flirted with this idea a few times. To make it work you have to actually write the dialogue, not merely imply it. For an erotic story, it helps to have the dialogue as seductive to some end, not necessarily sexual, with the mind control used to provoke imaginary scenarios that break down inhibitions.

Otherwise it can quickly get claustrophobic for the reader as much as the character, like having to endure the attention of an unpleasant politician.

My Gary Su character I sometimes dabble in with my nowhere going writing experiments have at times caught himself wondering if he had developed mind control powers yet or what is going on.

Being autistic he doesn't have innate understanding of human emotional expression, and his analytical powers, however vast and fine tuned through years of drama club participation aren't unlimited, especially in this regard. He also struggles with the necessity to consciously render the subtle body signals people expect to read his own emotions; it doesn't happen automatically for him, or may happen haphazardly and be confusing to others. Thus people taking his side or doing exactly what he wants or had just imagined in his perverted mind often take him by surprise, especially in absence of obvious motivation or reasons known to him. He is extremely charismatic despite hiding humility, insecurity and indecisiveness, and generally low self esteem under his default no-expression mask he had managed to learn to present as unbreakable confidence despite the often overwhelming emotional turmoil going on inside.
