I'm sorry you're moving. Also sorry you don't like the desert. It's not what it once was, though. Too many people now. I hope you will be much happier wherever you move to. Don't listen to him Siren - Alyeska has mostly Bush not forest! If you can call those shrub things that grow about 10 feet high trees, then I suppose you could make the leap of logic that there is a lot of forest in Alaska, but if you really want forest up there, then you have to go south of Anchorage. I've spent time (months) in Fairbanks, Anchorage and Ketchikan, and I much prefer Oregon, Washington or Montana.scylis said:
