Does anyone know of a converter for old macs that will play .wmv files? Help would be greatly appreciated.

How old is your Mac? Which OS are you using?

Have you tried flip4mac?

Quick Times Player will play .wmv files, but if I'm not mistaken, you need an OS that is 10.4 or later.

If that doesn't work, flip4mac as suggested will do the trick.

VLC is the best player out there!

I used to have to run the gauntlet of players to get some vids to play until I found VLC. VLC is the only player that will play cached files that I add media suffix to, something I do regularly when I want to share a vid that is otherwise cannot be downloaded or shared. It plays audio and video formats, no need for a bunch of other crap taking up space on your computer.
