Without a degree, you are useless.

Everything being talked about all depends on your field of study. I graduated high school in 1964. Went to college, and failed miserably. Went into the Air Force for 4 years. After 2 years of shitty jobs, went back to school on the GI Bill. Got an AA in data processing in 1974, and a BS in business in 1976. I worked a total of 36 years in IT with also consulting with the King County (Seattle) Sheriff's department. Did my business degree help? Not 1 iota. My 4 years as a military cop, plus my AA in IT work did it.

Meanwhile, AI, tariffs, and an extortionist administration are leading to layoffs of both white and blue collar workers, with and without degrees. A college degree no longer has the edge it once did.

No need to be snarky, mister "I claim to have a degree from law school, despite never even graduating HIGH school."

You could have said- and this would have been a fair point!- that while having a degree is helpful, what is more important to employers is 1) a marketable skill and 2) relevant experience.

Graduating with a degree in Transgender Studies is important only if you plan to be a counselor for people dealing with gender-identity issues. Graduating with a degree in history is important only if you plan to be a historian or park docent. Graduating with a degree in psychology is helpful only if you plan to be a psychologist, and so on.

You need to develop a marketable skill, a trade. Develop a plan, think of a vocation you might like to pursue. Or, plan on going into buisness for yourself and learn what you need to do to be successful. Then get the experience you need, even if it means starting at the very bottom as an entry level position. Or get the schooling you need. Don't major in something like Transgender Studies and expect to land a job with, say, an engineering firm right out of school, in other words.
So you've always been a liar, so...

We should trust your opinion now? As if we ever did...

You're a loser - the only thing you're good at.

^Fuck off, Hisarpy. Why don't you and your eighteen sock puppet accounts step away from Mommy's computer and chill the fuck out. You are a hateful troll and always have been and if this is how you get your puny pathetic satisfaction, by being a troll then so be it.

Your "opinions" are trash. Hate, hate, hate, mixed with ignorance and spite. You lie about being a law degree and "Having only one lit account" when you have at least eighteen active ones. And now you are even claiming to have gone into the Air Force for Four years." Nothing worse than stolen valor. I was at least trying to contribute to the discussion in a positive way. When the fuck have ANY of your army of screen names ever done so, EVER?

It doesn't matter.

You have to have a degree to deliver pizzas nowadays, and degree/credential inflation is just going to get worse, as banks and universities are raking in billions of dollars from this scheme and don't ever want that to stop.

lol a degree for deliver pizza at where pizza school or the teenage mutant ninja turtles university

Anyone who lacks a marketable job skill is in trouble. This does not include those whose blue collar trades are in demand. It does include those with liberal arts and social science degrees from non elite colleges and universities.
