World Cup Co-hosts: South Korea
One of the 8 favourites: Portugal
And finally: Poland

I'd expect Portugal to top the group with Poland coming second... USA could be third, but Korea has the home advantage.

Interestingly enough, seven of Poland's players have 'Tomasz' as their first name....

All times are Greenwich Mean Time...

So deduct between 5 and 8 hours depending on your time zone... but I'm sure you knew that part

Thank you, Starblayde. As an ignorant American I am looking forward to reading what those from other nations post about the World Cup, to try to see it from their perspectives. I am not all that much of a sports fan (aside from roting for the red Wings to win the Stanley Cup!) but I am fascinated by the whole milieu of sports fandom, and all the color and pageantry around it.
