As the plane descended down upon the runway Zora Mirgan closed up her book and watched as the palm trees came into view. She smiled thinking about the warmth of the sun, the sand and the sound of the ocean waves to put her to sleep at night. She closed her eyes and as she looked out the window again of the plane the sky was a beautiful color. it was indeed a sailors paradise, yellow, red, oranges with touches of purple and blue as the sun began to drop and kiss the horizon.
She was twenty-seven years old, and this was her third trip to the keys on business, never pleasure which she kept reminding herself she wanted to do, a two week vacation just to be lazy and sit on the beach, walk along the waters edge and see the sun set in full or rise or hell even both.
Zora had been with the Advertising agency for four years and worked her way up the ladder rather quickly. She was very business minded, always sold a new client on a great idea which they always loved and never slept with a co-worker above her to get up to the next rung of the company ladder.
Never being married was a good thing for her, she always thought that was something that would hold her back. Who would want a wife that was only home maybe six months of the year? That was the part of her job she probably loved most, traveling and not having to pay for a damn thing unless it was personal.
As the plane landed night fall was setting in. She went in and claimed her baggage and smiled as a car was already waiting for her outside as the driver her up a sign with her company name on it. He escorted her into the car, placed her luggage in the trunk and drove across the long bridge as she sat silently looking out at the ocean.
The driver stopped before the Waldorf Astoria resort and opened the door for her as a concierge came out and waited to take her bags from the trunk and followed her in as she walked confidently to the front desk. Zora was 5'8, 123 pounds and had long dark brown hair that flowed with each step. She smiled at the girl behind the desk, gave her name and checked herself in. The concierge followed her into the elevator and up to her room. As she opened the door and entered he dropped her bags by the bed and bid her a goodnight.
It was a long flight from Seattle Washington, she was hungry and wanted a drink, and a shower. She called room service and placed and order while she waited for her food to be delivered she took her shower and changed into nothing but a short flowery silk robe and a pair of white silk panties.
There was a knock at the door, she answered it and a young man pushed the cart in with a smile. Zora tipped him , closed the door and took her meal out on the terrace that overlooked the ocean. She had a wonderful view from the ninth floor. Sipping her cosmopolitan she felt an awful pain shoot through her shoulder and neck, reaching back she rubbed it and nearly cried out just from the touch of her finger tips.
Zora had a hard night sleeping, the pain seemed to get worse as she couldn't get comfortable and tossed and turned all night. She was very thankful for not needing to be in her meeting for two days giving her the whole day to perhaps find a spa to give her a massage.
The next morning she dressed in a short flowing summer dress and sandals, and stopped in at the front desk. This morning there was a gentleman names Perez attending the desk. "Good morning, I am Miss Morris from room 9-A and would you by chance know where I could get a massage in a more classier spa in the area?"
He stood there thinking for a moment and then reached under the desk and handed her a business card. "That would be your place Miss Morris. Just call and tell them Perez sent you. We send many of our customers there."
"Thank you Perez, I appreciate the help." Zora said as she walked through the lobby and sat in the outdoor terrace area and ordered breakfast. As she waited she decided to call. She read the card and the name was Sinful Escapes, which made her brow rise up for a moment. but, Perez said they send all their customers there so she called.
Hanging up the phone she had an 11:00 AM appointment. Zora felt miserable, every time she moved a certain way it caused her to wince out in pain. After breakfast she had Perez call her a cab and take her to the address on the card. The ride took about fifteen minutes and it was in a building that looked like a modern dentist or doctors office that sat at the edge of the beach.
Zora paid the driver and got out, every plant was a beautiful lush green with various colored flowers in full bloom. She could get used to living where it was sunny all the time and not rained daily. reaching for the door handle she could see through the glass and it looked very clean and reputable.
Walking into the main area the decor was modern. The color scheme was black, tan and touched of red. She walked up to the desk and smiled at the man behind it. "Hello, I called earlier. My name is Zora Morris, I have an 11:00 appointment. I was sent by Perez from the Astoria." Her voice was almost angelic. She spoke clearly and had a beautiful smile that could light up the room along with her haunting gray eyes. She placed her purse on the counter and waited for him to respond.
