I'm a lapsed Wiccan myself...
...and don't see a thing wrong with it. Hot, in fact.
Some interesting tidbits:
- In the Salem witch trials, the principal accusers - and many of the victims, as the accused tended to turn on each other - were teenaged girls.
- The witches were often alleged to have sealed their pact by kissing the Devil's anus.
- ...and sometimes having "congress" with Ol Scratch, whose semen was reputedly ice-cold.
- The witch was supposed to have a "witches' teat" somewhere on their body, through which they nursed their familiar.
- Testing for the "witches' mark" usually involved pricking all over the body with a knifepoint or needle.
- Impotence was a common "symptom" of witchcraft.
- Many accused witches were accomplished herbalists, and their persecution coincided with the rise of masculine medical science. One can imagine two male protagonists - the Witchfinder, and the Barber-Surgeon - who have...differing attitudes towards our witch.
- Jail in Salem was a quite different experience than you may think. Many of the accused were kept for weeks or month to years. And the accused was responsible for paying all their own upkeep if you wanted, say, candles or adequate food.

Sure! Nice fantasy - just think it would be sexier story if the witch and her tormentors felt better about the way she looked. And the history angle is good too - something I'm into at the moment. I shall probably have a naked and humiliated wench in my next story. About a poor wee Saxon lass who becomes a Viking's plaything! But yes in general I like the idea. Don't give up!

How about a trial where the villagers try to make her come in all sorts of ways? While in the stocks? If she does, then she is in league with Satan. If the males cannot "get it up" then she must be a witch too! If she doesn't - well they just have to prolong the "torture". Maybe she comes after the attentions of too many men and cannot help herself and is led away screaming to the bonfire? There candles are lit and wax dripped upon her body... Or is dunked in the river and sinks...in each case she is resued by an accuser who thinks her too fine to waste...takes her home where she has to repay him... the possibilities are endless!

Good to hear! And makes for a sexier story too. Just had another idea - if it was cold some cunning judge could ensure the outcome (as if it was in any doubt) by inserting ice into - well it's your fantasy! Reports of "she's as cold as ice" during ensuing humiliation would bring to mind the icy semen of the devil himself as interestingly mentioned earlier in the thread. And prove beyond doubt etc. But it's your fantasy - do look forward to reading a story about this from someone. Pity I'm busy with another plot...good luck!

Not to say they would strip a woman down and put her on the stocks in the middle of december or something, but say in September/October when it's getting chilled it was easy enough to go up a nearby mountain and return with snow, get enough and it would melt days later.
However such adjusting of pussy temperatures would be temporary to say the least, especially with something inserted and moving around she would be at regular body temperatures in say 30 seconds.

Yeah that's why I said "if it was cold". Some farmers had cold cellars too where the winter snows could be kept - at least around here. But hey, I'm sure no one would be that cruel. They would be sure to light a fire to thaw her out a bit.

Last thing I wanted was to steal AnnV's fire by turning this into a debate on medieval refrigeration techniques...I agree it would be a great twist if, once tried, publicly fucked, and "rescued" by the judge/suitor, our sexy witch turned the tables on him once she was freed from the stocks or untied from the stake. As for the torture, count me out, but a little pain, enough to warrant some spooky revenge, could be good. Well I certainly did. Just the right amount of menace, callousness and hypocrisy here from the judge. Just the right amount of helplessness and fear and humiliation and guilty pleasure from the witch. A good example of how to approach this subject. Should be a good place to start for any author wanting to give this a try and improve on this example.
