Any body who gets that "diabolical" fruitcake-yes even the one with the footprint in it, is more than welcome to send it to me. I love them. Light, dark and all in between. I did not get a chance to bake any this year, so I will be missing them, unless you all take pitty on me and send me some of the ones you don't want

Those are beautiful, but I don't do cookies at Thanksgiving for some reason, probably because it's the only formal dinner I serve besides Easter. Christmas is just grazing all day, LOL. I usually make some kind of torte or cheesecake. This year, I'm doing a Filipino Sans Rival torte. A friend made one and it looks complicated, but delicious.
