There is a difference between "won't" and "can't". If I post this, I probably won't get any of the attention that I'm looking for. However, if I don't post this, I can't get any attention at all.
I'm located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. A 'small' city of 830k people, give or take a couple thousands. Fairly urban, pretty spread out, but sorta known for having the most restaurants per capita of any city in the world. (This may or may not still be true.)
I would say that the dating apps are not worth the time or effort these days. Mostly because I'm looking for someone who actually reads and is interested in fiction. So this place is kinda likely to have that ideal person. My current 'out in public' author to read is Terry Pratchett with his Discworld novels. Wouldn't be my first time reading them, probably won't be the last.
If I'm being honest about myself, and I would like to think I am, I don't think I'm particularly special. I'm 38 years old. 184 cm or 6'1" in height. I weigh (checking my scale now) 72 kg or 171 lbs. Angular of face, fair of skin, hairy of arms and legs, and topped off with brown hair.
My current hobby is a small amount of body building. Just regular visits to the gym where I follow a workout regime made by people smarter and stronger than I am. I'm not at any competition level of fitness, and I never will be.
The other hobby is writing for literotica. Not in a professional capacity by any means. I feel like I'm doing a decent job of it.
If you'd enjoy meeting up. Let's plan for the Forks. Get fish and chips, go for a walk, that kind of thing.
