Windows 10 upgrade

Everyone touting the GWX Control Panel is quite right. This thing will stop everything Win10-related in its tracks.

Add my voice to the chorus: if you have Windows 7, grab GWX, check for updates regularly, and otherwise sleep comfortably in the knowledge that your Win7 computer will still be a Win7 computer when you wake up.

Windows 7 will be supported until 2020.

Someone asked about Word and games on Linux. You have two or three different free options to Office and all are compatible with everything MS Office puts out.

As for windows games, WINE is getting there with an emulator that allows you to play these games in Linux. A lot of older games are supported already and there are people all over the world working on getting new games up and running.

So you have four years to learn Linux and the learning curve ain't that steep.

I trust the Safer Network...I down loaded the app, even Win7 has some "Report back to Homeworld what you do." Turned all that shit off.

A lot of it is from Office 13 and newer but it's a good idea to run it.
