I'm curious how many of us are registered and plan to vote in the upcoming election. And so y'all don't think I'm America-centric, I'll have poll options for everyone else too. :)

I'm Rhodesian. Can't vote. Anywhere (except "Zimbabwe", where it's worse than useless- it's fatal).

Early and often.

Hey Samadiriel, don't forget those dead people you promised to deliver on Tues.

Shades of Daley. LOL. Of course, in "Zimbabwe", the order is reversed. You vote, and THEN you die.

Hubby and I already mailed in our votes.

Well, at least yours have a chance of being counted. I'm hoping I don't run into those electronic nightmares.

I missed the primary where I live (polls weren't where I thought they were :( ) and voted absentee in the previous one ('o4), but this time I'm not working so I have plenty of time to find the polls. They finally sent me a voting card with the address on it. I registered at my current address in July 04, and they were supposed to have a card to me within three months (by law). Imagine my surprise when I finally got one in the mail this last JUNE.

I can't  but I probably wouldn't anyway.

eta: I like to beat up on policemen, so I can't vote anymore.

Could be because I'm sipping rum spliffed tea here, but I found it amusing that the poll button says Vote Now.

Couldn't vote on your poll cause you didn't have my answer. I already voted on Thurday, Early Voting :)

Probably the rum...
But VOTE is nonetheless an imperative. :D

I'll be voting, but for the most part, I'll be voting on the ballot mesures and abstaining or voting, "none of these candidates" for the various politicl offices. There are a few incumbents I'll be voting against, but I dot hope for much change; either the incumbents I think should be booted wil win or their replacements will be as corrupt and stupid as the theincumbents were.

I've never missed a vote since became of legal voting age. Tuesday won't be any different.

Will I be voting? Most certainly I will be voting and I hope that someone will take pity on anyone who tries to stop me from voting. (OKay so I lied, I could care less what happens to anyone who tries to stop me from voting, after I'm finished with them of course.)

Like WildCard I haven't missed a vote since I turned legal age.

My biggest question will be what I shall wear when I go to vote. I have T-Shirts that say "If you didn't vote then quite bitching!" "Vote, it's your duty" "My right to vote is protected by the Right to Bear Arms" and of course my favorite, which always get nasty reactions at the Polling Places. A T-Shirt with the Emblems of the Armed Services on the front and the statement "They voted with their blood there so you can vote here" on the back.

Damn, I'd hate to think what those buggers did to piss you off. Most people don't beat up constables, and you don't seem nutty, so....hmm...Well, if you're talking about one of Mugabe's goons, however, plenty of people beat up on them...or should.

He was plainclothes, and grabbed my arm without identifying himself, so I let him have it. He wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.

Went to jail for it, but it was satisfying as hell.

Damn, that's awful luck. Some imbecile decides to grab a dame and then pulls rank when he can't prevail? Freud would have a lot of fun with him. Probably compensating for lack of ...substance.

But I'm glad that you clobbered him. Abuse of power is very disturbing. Too bad about the jail part though.

I'll also be voting as early and often as possible. It's the old-fashioned Democrat way to steal elections. Republicans have learned the key to winning isn't held by voters but the vote counter and gone high-tech.

A popular pundit in my state once described "Supervoters - those who would crawl across broken glass on hands and bare knees to vote."
