This kid, Ehtan Couch, was sentenced to 10 years probation for killing four people in an automobile accident he caused while drunk driving.

If he wasn't rich, he undoubtedly would have gotten 10 years in prison (or longer) and not probation.

Wealthy people are given very lenient punishments when they are convicted of crimes (even very serious crimes) and most often times they receive probation in place of jail time.

He fled the United States to Mexico to escape his probation and has been caught. But will he get get just another slap on the wrist, or will a judge throw the book at him?

Honestly who cares? I think he'll probably get a harsh sentence because the public eye is on this one.

I think he should spend a couple of years in Mexican jail before being extradited back to the US.

As of right now they are saying 120 days tops. That could change but it's all they have right now. There was a news story that broke it all down as to why.

I wish he'd get a bullet to the head but we'll continue to coddle this criminal and let him kill again some day.

How much does it cost to get away with killing four people in a drunken stupor?

Really, I think he should get life just for being so stupid to mess up the deal he had.
