Last fall, before anyone but his family and teammates even knew his name, I began thinking Johnny Manziel just might have what it takes to win the Heisman...

...and he became the first freshman ever to do so.

Ever since then, I've had this premonition that something very violent is going to happen with the guy, that in some way he's going to lose it (again) and it ain't going to be pretty. Then, today, I read this article and learn more about why I'd been thinking that way...

...Johnny F*#cking Football (his original nick on A&M chat boards) is a friggin' ticking time bomb.

It's an excellent write, possibly about a near future that may already be carved in headstone...

...see if you don't get the willies from reading it, too:

The trouble with Johnny

Johnny Manziel can't escape the pull of his celebrity, and it could derail his career

I knew I should've included "reigning"...

...but, nonetheless, you do know that OJ was found not guilty in a court of law, right?

The alleged murder of his ex-wife and her boyfriend isn't the only time O.J. allegedly went postal.

Just last week he was paroled for several of the counts he was convicted on, but still has about a hundred years of consecutive sentences to serve, which he wasn't paroled from.

See, I agree that murdering your ex-wife and boyfriend the way(s) OJ was charged with doing is definitely going postal...

...but, he was found not guilty of those crimes so - officially - he didn't go postal.

As far as these other crimes you bring up:

I don't deem them going postal...

...seems to me death has to be involved somehow in any truly applicable use of the word.
