Will it really come down to Christie and Clinton?

The 2016 Republican primaries are going to be a sideshow, full of circus freaks and carnival barkers.

It is nice to see that we can dust off the same lines from every election for the past 50 years and reuse them over and over and over and over...

The Republicans only nominate someone who's been a loyal Party Member, and in most cases it's kind of a reward for all their service... McCain, Dole... Romney was a bit of an aberration. But he's rich so that counts for a few bonus points.

I can't think of who's turn it may be this time around. But this far out, the 'front runners' never make it to the end.

Some old white guy will rear his senile head and be crowned by the party. Actual voting Republicans don't really get a choice.

Let's see:
A hurricane is coming, "Get off the damn beach"
Attack on a US Consulate, "What difference does it make"

Yeah, it's gonna be a tough choice.

RINO works well in the northeast but wont work in the red states.

Hillary is an old hag.

Christie vs Hillary - an election where neither side is a total disaster or a religious nut job? Wouldn't be a bad constellation...

And there's your problem; anyone wacky enough to get the tea party nomination is far to wacky to win more than 20% in the general election. The Republican Party has committed suicide.

An election where you could be proud to stand behind either one? Yeah wouldn't that be odd.

Though part of me shudders at the idea of Christie talking to foriegn leaders. It's taken us two goddamn centuries to convince Europeans we can be civilized folk.

Billary will be 69 years old in 2016. No thanks.

Yes please!
