Got into watching Warhammer lore videos then I saw how much it cost to buy a full (unpainted) army and thought: okay how the fuck does anyone without six figure salaries afford this hobby?

So that led to this idea: Someone has an expensive hobby but they can’t hope to afford it with their salary so they start offering sex to get their armies, decks, model kits, what have you.

Of course the fun is: it could be at stores (especially for card games) or it could be with private collectors for things like war games, so it allows for some variety.

Also, TTRPGs use minis, and there's a huge female base around them, though nerdy stuff is not exactly known for having loud girls. Still, we're far away from Gygax's times. To show one example, Ginny Di is, at the top of my head, one of the biggest names out there in D&D, and it's a running joke to see people simping for her when she's the hot orc.

It's fine, my FLGS also caters to a male population the most. Besides, geeky girls in my area are more into videogames rather than traditional games. Also, what @PennyThompson said.

Yeah, back in my last town we did have some male centered game shops and they local war gaming scene is majority male at my local game shop.

RPG scene though is half in half with quite a few women led/majority groups in my area.

My favorite LGS where I live is very inclusive so when they throw an event it tends to be about half in half or even female majority

I've built model cars for over 45 years and I have by most estimations a 'modest' collection of kits to be built, at 125. I know guys with over 5000 kits, that dominate a 2.5 car garage.
It is not at all unusual for collections like that to go up for sale, usually when someone dies. And if you put a $20 price tag on each, it becomes clear that there is NO WAY the seller would get anything close to that. The usually sell as a lot, for less than a dollar apiece.
