of Northern Iraq when Turkey moves its troops over the border.

Or are you going to ignore them again?

No one knows yet so anyone who answers your question pp_man either way is full of shit.

So I take that's a yes you'll ignore them, shall I?

ppman

yeah, but we can guess can't we?

Your guess is merely pointless rhetoric that has no bearing on reality (as is anyone's opinion about the future).

Not really. America abandoned them to their fate last time. Why not completely ignore them this time?

Just another complication Bush will probably run away from...

Unlike you pp I actually say what I mean, I don't know, no one knows at this point.

If Turkey does not agree to allow us to base 60,000 troops there for a Northern axis to Baghdad then there is a god chance we will not allow Turkey into Northern Iraq.

If they do then who knows? There are a lot of variables, even if our leaders decided to abandon them if we have thousands of troops on the ground witnessing any atrocities that the Turks may be tempted to cause first hand then the average foot soldier may have different ideas as to handling Turkey's presence in Iraq.

Yes that fits...I can just see the US declaring war on Turkey.

It just seems such a waste that we've spent 12 years protecting them only to throw them to the wolves right at the end...

We are probably the only friend Turkey’s got in NATO, Europe dislikes, distrusts, and sometimes loathes the Turks. We are probably the only thing that allowed then to join in the first place so if they piss us off then it’s so long, The EU wants nothing to do with them. Greece of course would be delighted…
