This guy is a cool dude and I just love watching the program Wild Photo Adventures.

Doug Gardner travels all over the U.S. photographing nature. He's ranged from stalking moose in Maine's lake country to deer in Virginia's Blue Ridge to waterfowl in the Maryland marshes to wild ponies in North Carolina's Outer Banks to grizzlies in Alaska to 'gators and herons in the Everglades.

The program is broadcast on the public television network.

Check it out; I think you, too, will enjoy it.

I apologize if it appears that I'm shilling for this guy but I'm a sucker for this stuff and he really is a good guy.

Today:

White-tail deer.

Ford County, southwest Kansas along the Arkansas River.

Now in its 5th season, I love this television program. The host, Doug Gardner, is clearly a good guy and the episodes are, for the most part, riveting.
