I really don't like blackmail stories. But I've been thinking about a plot and that spam post inspired me to share:
Wife is blackmailed by an ex-boyfriend with old videotapes. Nothing extreme but humiliating. Wife foolishly cooperates, thinking he'll be nice. Of course it only escalates. Worse thing is, he secretly records the favors she performs for him and there's no denying they took place during the marriage.
She comes clean and the husband is fucking pissed. He demands to see the videos. The worst is the last, the one that drove her to stop cooperating, when he sodomizes her on their marital bed. She swears she refused to do that and he forced her. But it looks like she's a willing participant. She's even smiling though the smile does look pasted on.
Blackmailer comes home to find husband waiting for him inside his apartment. 'Ah, she told you? Doesn't matter. I have backups of those tapes and now the whole world will get to see them.' Husband pulls out a weapon. 'You took the dearest thing away from me. It won't bother me at all to paint the walls with you. So if you want to keep your balls attached, show me the recordings.' The ex isn't shaken. 'You could have asked your wife too see them.' Husband says he's seen the those versions. 'I want to see the unedited footage.' Now the ex is shaken.
Ex unlocks his computer and husband starts downloading the files. They watch the most recent recording and sure enough, the wife is repeatedly refusing to cooperate and the ex alternates between threatening her with exposure and physically coercing her. When they get to the anal scene she is begging him not to make her and he literally beats her, tells her they are doing this whether she wants to or not. 'And you better fucking smile.'
Husband says 'That's looks like rape to me. I bet you would do anything to keep that out of police hands.' Ex knows he's cooked. 'Yeah, I guess I would.' Husband dumps a out a bag full of dildoes, butt plugs, a cucumber, an ear of corn, etc. He also gets out a video camera. 'I think you should make a video of your own. And you better fucking smile.'
My thought is that he plans to report the guy to the police regardless, try hold the additional tape over his head as leverage. But frankly, even though he intends to reconcile with wife, he thinks it would serve her right to have her tapes exposed. His only compunction on that is how it would reflect on him as her husband.
