Like the idea but kidnapping her family is too extreme. Maybe he just has proof of an affair she had and threatens to expose her to her husband. She accepts knowing she'll lose her family otherwise. Progresses from there.

I don’t like the idea of her having already cheated as it takes away from what she must do.. and the surprise that she enjoys it

For the record, I followed that you mean the "blackmail" becomes an "affair".

I'm always a sucker for an innocent, well-behaved woman finding herself in a situation where she reluctantly finds herself turned on.

I like the idea of her being kidnapped. Then, a little Stockholm syndrome sets in... and she's initially freaked out at how into her the stalker is... then... kinda flattered at the passion and single-minded lust.

The idea of her suddenly thinking if he wanted me this badly.. should I be flattered and then it starts a tailspin into stockholm syndrome and eroticism.

So, in the end, she does what she "has to" to escape and protect her family. She doesn't want to admit that, in the end, down deep, she enjoyed it.

And, when it comes time to give the police details, she finds herself inexplicably being a little vague with details... so they can't find him. She wants him to seek her out so she can have her revenge on him outside the law!

...or that's what she tells herself at the surface level... down deep she knows she's risking a repeat of the last kidnapping... maybe over and over again.

Yes and she grows addicted to how this man makes her feel and how he makes her see herself.. questioning all the reasons she became an actress.. she now believes its to turn men on.

I like this idea. I'd like it more if she was a lifelong closet attention whore. Being in front of the camera and being the center of attention used to be a major drug for her. To keep it going she used to let her self-get 'caught' by paparazzi but now they no longer stalk her. At the beginning of this tale, she feels bad that her lone fan that still cares about her is this creepy stalker. She is repelled by him and fears him but fears being completely forgotten even more.

I'm sorry but for me, blackmail, is only realistic if the things I'm being blackmailed to do are things that turn me on or would only do in fantasy. Being blackmailed frees me of the guilt of responsibility and allows us to do things we wouldn't normally dare. It shifts the blame to our blackmailer. Because of this, I want the blackmailed tasks to start off to be mostly minor and tollerable. Like accepting a role that I'd normally turn down due to its subject matter and such. Nothing too naughty, and more importantly, it brings back fame, acclaim and attention. These early minor victories grant the stalker gumption to become more demanding. The two start to feed each other. Her stalker seems to be a guru on picking parts that aid in her previously flagging career.

Now she feels she needs him and owes him. So, when he pulls his outlandish stunts, like kidnapping his family, she goes along with it not just to rescue her family but because she feels she owes him, somehow. That sets her up for more stuff as you guys write

Anyways, that's how I feel about this story idea
