I'm gay and enjoy erotic literature. I thought this place would be a good place to read gay erotic literature. But I'm finding it hard to get into the so called "gay" erotic literature on this site because sooo much of the stories in the gay section seems to be bi erotic literature. When I go into a gay themed story section of a site I expect gay themed stories not bisexual stories of men in it having gay sex. Bisexual is not gay. I want to read about men who love men ONLY. Men who have sex with men ONLY. Where are these stories?

CarsonShepherd has a great deal of good gay fiction, but if you don't want bi, don't read "What Chocolate Mousse Can Do" - and more's the pity, it's fine work.

There are bi stories in the gay category because Lit has a limited number of categories and does not use multiple tags. Thus, authors rarely have a story that contains the category title element and only that element.

Hmmmm.... I like M/M and I'm, at last check, a chick.

In a story with many elements, it's a real struggle to find a category which is a true home for a story. If a writer chose gay because a story fits there best, well, I'd hope there would be some tolerance for that.

Oh, and you probably don't want to read my "Letters from the Hesperus" either. The actual "action" is M/M, but the central character is ... hmm. I'm not really sure what to call his sexuality, other than "makes sense to me," but he's writing to his wife.

Try Tom Collins and Ken Nitsua...both new and both posting some of the best gay/gay guy stories I've read.

Oh, and hey, me. "Bittersweet" and, if you have any taste for a leathermen, the two "Fancy Man" stories starting w/"Fancy Man and the Black Lion's Mark."

I understand your frustration--but if you skim through the gay section, A-Z, you'll see that while a lot of the stories are...not all are:
1) Bi-guy finds gay side
2) Married guy learns the joys of gay sex
3) Hetero guy/roomate/friend learns what it's like to be with a man

Just read the taglines. There are a lot of gay/gay stories in the gay male section, some of them the most moving romances and/or hot sex I've ever read.
