do we let things get to us to the point of making our hearts hurt?

I wish that I had an answer to your question, Juliangel, but I don't. I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I wonder about the same thing...

I've been wondering about the same thing, love, and I haven't come close to an answer.

Matters of the heart can be very complicated. Hell, I should know more than anyone here lately. I tend to open up my heart to others too easily (or not enough) at times. Recently I discovered that it was unfair to myself, the man I truly love, and another man by starting to feel "emotionally involved" with the other one. ~sigh~

Thanks y'all, I am sitting here almost in tears after having a very serious talk with someone about things I never should have asked about.

I wish there were a way to talk questions back and thing I wouldn't be so blue.

If you ever need someone to talk to, just let me know.

Thank you, I have cried a few times tonight trying to work through things, this is kind of hard to talk to anyone about. I still haven't solved the problem but it isn't hurting as much now.

Why? because when you love or care very deeply for said person whoever they are...you are vulnerable and open for any darts that may fly out of their mouths to wound your heart.

I hope things work themselves out hon...I am thinking of you!!

I'd rather have a few thorns if it means I get to enjoy the roses. <shrug>
