Can you prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt that this poster is not another Ken or Paul just trying to catfish you?

I didn't think so...

It’s really quite sad.

Can you prove, beyond a showdown of a doubt, that they aren’t?

Yeah.......no.

A showdown?

No. But every day we are presented with performance alts.

This wasn't a heartfelt post from one of the regular posters here, so excuse me if I, for one, refuse to be catfished...

Why is everything so difficult? I need to vent and get this off my chest. This is obviously not erotic, so I put my post here. I got a new diagnosis for the reason why my body has been doing what it is doing. My current landlord is wanting to kick me out, because of complications from new diagnosis. I can't afford to live anywhere else because the government said that my student loans were supposed to be forgiven and they were not. I have defaulted because of it, and are now garnishing my wages to pay back the portion I owe. Not only that, I have to depend on someone for rides because I don't have my license. I need a car to live in, or a room and I just got full time work after 3 years of bitching and moaning. Can we say fucked in the ass, with no reacharound?

Right - the positives...

Yay for new job, way to go you, I know the other shit stinks but you must be in a better position with the new job than not...

I obviously know nothing about your medical position, but I am hoping the diagnosis is a positive thing that at least means you know what you are dealing with - I can’t comprehend the horror of scrambling around for answers and finding none.

There must be organisations to offer advice on the landlord situation... does your landlord know you’ve found work? I struggle to see how it’s in his or her interest to kick out a good tenant that was out of work, the minute they find work... here they’d be on very dodgy legal ground if they were using the medical diagnosis as a reason (but I know the US has less protection for vulnerable citizens...). Here we have a brilliant org called Citizens advice who provide free advice to anyone, including getting a legal opinion - do you have anything similar?

No matter how bad things feel, one day this will just be a distant memory, stay strong, xx
