A friend of ours was transferred to Atlanta at the beginning of January... he had to leave his horse here until he could find a transport company to get it there, and a barn to keep it in.

We spent all night before the transport people came, trying to make sure that our friend knew we'd loved his horse during their seperation... and that he looked beautiful when he arrived in Atlanta. The transport company picked him up on Tuesday, during the worst ice storm in KC's history. They arrived safely in Atlanta about midnight Thursday.

Now tell me, isn't this the prettiest, most well cared for horse you've ever seen?

Hey PCG,

ROFLMAO. Who did that to the horse?

All my riding buddies. This is what happens when you mix alcohol, a much missed friend's horse, and hobby lobby addicts!

That's the beauty of it! We decorated him, put him on the truck and sent him to Atlanta. His owner gets to do the clean up! I just wanna know how long it takes to get purple hairspray out of a white tail! :D

He called at midnight when the horse got there, laughin so hard he was cryin. Sent me an email this morning... said we're no longer his friends, we're his best friends. Guess he understood the spirit in which it was meant.

I just hope paybacks aren't too scary. We'll all be together for a week long camping/riding trip in June. He's got LOTS of time to think of retribution.

that's Great!!

When you're 80 you can say..."hey....remember that time we painted that horse.....haahahaaahah" I love moments like that. Pure simple fun.

thanks for sharing, sugah!

It was a blast. The more we painted, the more fun it was. I'm just glad I have black horses, paint won't show up nearly as well on them!

Those pics were after the ride to Atlanta. When I download the pics of him when the paint was fresh, and he hadn't rubbed out all the ribbons, I'll post them too. He was gorgeous! :D
