Why would Disney be interested in getting little Bush re-elected, he and his religious right people hate the Disney Company. You know, the gays are taking over the world. And Disney is responsible.
EBW said:It all depends on what you mean by conservative I suppose. Disney has "Gay Day" to make money off of the estimated 10% of the population that is gay, not out of moral principal . Most news organizations are probably not social conservatives(See Gay Day) but would definitely be fiscal conservatives. How do you suppose GE or Disney feels about corporate welfare? or if Eisner and his ilk would like to pay lower taxes?
When you live in a two party system it's a convenient pit to fall in to label one party conservative(Although I don't think Republicans can legitimately be called conservative) and one liberal but any reasonable, objective examination of the political spectrum would show that Democrats are centrists. The thousands of idiots who voted for Nader did because the Democrats are, in matters of things other than social conservatism, only vaguely to the left of the Republicans.

Bush and company are going to try and break a worlds record by filling Disney Land with popcorn and eating it all in a record number of hours?
