You have one big advantage...you are very selfaware and in tune with yourself...not a ditz at all...(most ditzes are not aware enough to describe themselves that way!)
My thought on the co-worker.....asshole...that type of comment is never appropriate....unless you are really good friends with them and have a history of teasing like that...the quiet ones are usually the scary ones...

This thread has taken some turns, but the one that bothers me the most is about the sexual harrassment side.

First, it did not seem to me that you tood it as sexual harrassment and should not have. It may be that he picked up on some things and just decided to throw them out there. No harm done and you are a big girl and can handle yourself just fine. As to why, he finds you attractive and you said you find Him attractive so all is well.

Btw.. a persons inner self is not necessarily hidden, as others here have pointed out.

But the harrassment comments blow me away. I cant believe that people here consider comments such as that 'harrassment'. Our society is being directed by the most sensitive and that makes it more difficult for everyone. I think you handled it just right and I hope that you take his comment as a compliment, as what he said does not seem to be untrue...

I once complimented a female business associate on the attractive dress she was wearing. Something like “… that is a beautiful dress you are wearing today.” She immediately told me that the comment I made could be considered sexual harassment.

From that day on I never made another comment to her about the way she dressed. Even though she knew and I knew she looked very attractive. Our “relationship” changed. I sensed she wanted me to compliment her and she was irritated that I did not. We never discussed it. She is very cold towards me. How about them apples?
