It's an affliction known as mindless vandalism and commonly affects boys from about nine to nineteen and sometimes longer.

Common excuses given by said youths on being caught include - 'I was bored', 'Dunno' and 'Just seemed cool mister'.

Interpreted into English these all mean - 'I haven't got a brain cell, I'm an amoeba'.

my sister used to do that to people. for reasons really simplistic and stupid. some of those included: parking too close to her in a parking space next to the car, the kids of the car owner touching her car (I swear a fingerprint never hurt anything), someone took a space in a parking lot after she waited for awhile... and the list goes on.

I never did understand her stupidity.

i caught someone keying my car once. when they walked away i watch what car they got into then followed them to the place they where shoping to next. lets just say when they came back to there car they saw 4 flat tires.

Aurora_s_Flame, sorry to hear about your car and as for why someone would do that ... maybe they are stupid in the head or some thing along those lines.

My car was keyed, the whole side of the passenger side was keyed one time when I was at my friend's apartment. I walked out and I noticed it right away .. my poor car.

Needless to say , someone made a mistake. There was a note on my car, some thing about " stay away from Mike" .. I did not even know a Mike .. someone just mistook my car for someone elses....and keyed it.

Bastards !
