Why will you vote for Obama in November?

Because I always vote for the Democrat and have never yet had cause to regret it.

As for me? Well, there are two people who have a chance to win, and Obama, while not perfect by any stretch, is the better option of the two. However, I haven't gotten around to registering to vote in my new residence, and since my vote won't have any meaningful impact on any local race (all the action here is in the Republican primary) or at the state or federal level, I may not bother.
 
I don't know why I would for Obama, or for that matter for the Republican candidate either. Seems kind trying to pick between arsenic and hemlock. Will probably vote for a third party simply to show my disdain.

I've been a Democrat since before I could vote. Not this time. Barry can kiss my ass. Romney's no prize, but he beats the usual GOP zealots.

So you're out because Obama chose to accept a more conservative solution to expanding the health insurance pool than he initially wanted?
 
The State is evil. I'm against both parties. The mandate is just a symptom of what is wrong with the social engineers who think that they can change human nature by governmental fiat. Society isn't your laboratory, jackasses! Stop treating us like guinea pigs. Peace and anarchy, out.
 
Society can produce those things without any need for compulsion by glorified social scientists. Government and society are two separate things.

Most politicians don't even pretend to be social scientists. Social scientists are there for pols to consult as needed.

There's a difference between chaos and a voluntary society with non-compulsory social institutions. It can replace the State. It just has to do so with a minimum of violence and a maximum of responsible self-determination. The best approach is to set up alternatives to the State before it ceases to exist.
 
I'm in because he'll continue to piss off the racist / religious right fringe more than any President in history. And that's worth three terms. :cool:
