Insecure lieing little people.

Someday I am sure I wil realize why people have this incouragable need to lie about themselves for affection. To mislead others along a stringing line into a position where they are forced to be revealed and then looked upon with infinite pity and sadness. Oh well I think this may be one thing that escapes me.

Well I guess I am once again a drift in the sea of life.

Well, I think when people lie, it's to get the attention they crave but aren't getting. I've found tho that I get more of what I need by being oipen and honest than by lying and trying to coerce it from those who are my friends.

I hope you find what you are looking for someday. :)

It really confounds me too that people lie particularly in trying to start or initiate new relationships. If someone connects with the person lying what has either gained...nothing. Doesn't that seem obvious to the person lying. When the other party learns it they're gonna say "see ya". Does that matter to them? Are people who lie just about the present with no thought to repercussions? Are they that simple and ignorant?

Sometimes (though never justified) people lie about little stuff or to protect feelings and that seems somewhat different to me, but out and out lies about your life, interests, business affairs etc etc. I don't know it blows my mind. I guess it is an attention getting thing or an emotional instability because maybe the liar really believes the false facade they create will stand.

Who the hell knows?

The best thing to do is to be honest right from the start. If some one is going to like you it is for being yourself and not trying to be some one you are not. If you enter a relationship lieing then sooner or later you are going to slip up and make a mistake which ruins your relationship and you credibility.
