Why The U.S. will fail...

In the Middle East they march in the street against dictators daring them to shoot...and here obese people fight over a 2 dollar waffle maker at wallyworld...

You talk a big game.

On what date do you plan on marching?

Heads up, 'saint...

...RoryN, the insecurely rabid ankle nipper, is on the loose.

I've decided to introduce Rory to stamp collecting. I'll start him out with an 1893 World's Columbian Exposition three cent commemorative.

America won't fail and so far I'm not hearing about any fatalities this year so it's all just fun in games.

A good waffle maker is hard to find. I've gone through a few of them because they get gummed up pretty easy and the teflon gets worn and next thing you know you got a waffle burner instead of a cooker.
Gotta get one where you can change the plates and the hinge is made of steel or something similar.

You could get a stovetop cast iron one.

Sorry - I was busy:

I agree re: cast iron when it comes to making waffles.

Yes but we're talking you're standard waffle maker here. Cast iron is good and I have a lot of it but it's not convenient. More prep and cleanup involved. They do cook almost everything better though.

Especially the clean-up. Half the time I avoid using cast ironware just because I loathe cleaning it.

Yeah, I can see that. I have cast iron everything, but it collects dust more than it gets used.

Other than the cast iron, I like the industrial kind they use at places like Waffle House. There's an initial investment, but they hold up.
