Why the recent wave of "daddy" and "older men" postings?

I fully accept that we all have our respective likes and interests but I'm a bit suspicious of the recent wave of posts from supposed females looking for daddy figures or younger women seeking older men.

Maybe it's legit and merely coincidental but my skeptic meter is way high on this one. If anyone has some insight, please enlighten me.

A few other possibilities...

I've been around long enough -- I call it "experienced" and not "old"! -- to recognize some of these things that seem out of place. Here are my top three guesses about the new wave of threads from young girls seeking older guys:
1. A new batch of female college graduates figured out they're unemployable and have therefore begun the search for an older man with money who might die soon.
2. AARP has launched a new campaign to make old guys feel good about themselves.
3. Viagra is trying to give more potential customers a reason to buy more of their product.

And for all of those legitimate young girls out there that truly enjoy older men, I know it can happen. I'm not challenging that fact, just the rash of recent threads with that theme. Enjoy and pursue your personal preference. I'm all for it.

Definatly 2 different mindset.
