Not sure if I mentioned this yet, but I am now working in school leadership. Interviewing secretaries today; are you interested? Or perhaps you are a parent seeking an appointment...either way, I will close the door behind you. It's hard being alone in the school during the summertime....

Meeting with me privately on a regular basis
Serving as the public face of the school
Engaging my staff firmly but delicately
Managing me and my calendar to help me do my job more effectively
Being a team player when things get hard in my office
Not be afraid to get down on all fours when there is something dirty to be done
Demonstrating loyalty
Payroll & enrollment
