First I got a hell of a surprise when a few eyebrow hairs went white.
Some years later, I again got a shock when my pubes decided to go salt'n'pepper.
And today I found a grey eyelash!

I would have appreciated a heads up!

This ageing thing sux.

Cuz all the old people got old and forgot that they were supposed to. They had a hard enough time trying to remember what they came in here for.

Seeing as you're only 33, I've got to think it's likely all the nitrous oxide you huffed back in your clubbing days. ;)

Just look at my AV.

It's years old yet I had to use stage make-up to go back to ginger.

My first grey hairs came when I was 21.

You didn't know that hair can turn gray?

I knew about hair turning grey..... I just didn't expect it to happen all over!
Kinda like the morning after having a baby. Nobody warned me that I would have a marshmallow stomach I could sink my whole hand into! I was expecting to be flat as soon as bub was out! Not the squishy mess of loose skin I was left with  Again, someone should have said something....

I got my first gray hair at 26 years old, when I was pregnant with Jennifer. I was not happy.

Eyelashes? Isn't that what mascara or eyelash dye is for? For fair eyelashed among us it will make little difference.

The eyebrow hairs that get me are the ones I call the 'granddaddy hairs' the ones that start growing longer than the rest. G is still at the age I can pluck his out from his thick eye lashes leaving them dense, but... Soon they will be having hair cuts and styles of their own. Eyebrow whiskers.

My eyebrow greys are much much shorter than my normal ones!
Shorter but waaaay thicker.
Makes it easy to pluck :D

I got a "shock" of grey hair (okay...four strands) literally the day before I got married at age 26. In retrospect, God was sendin' me a sign. :)

G was early twenties. I still only have a couple, as many in my eyebrow. I have lasted longer than either parent. :). They will come all in a rush I imagine.

I have to color now. I'm close to 50% gray.

Just to "let you know" pretty soon all your teeth are going to fall out, if they haven't already.

I have this mantra that youth is a state of mind and that the older I get, the more grounded therefore younger I get.

But the truth is, if I were to live in a place like L.A. (where you throw a stone and find hundreds of Baywatch-type stunners in their twenties),
I'd feel very insecure.

If thy grey hairs offend thee, pluck them out, and cast them from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Reading this caused me to speak in tongues.
I wonder what I said??
