I just wanted to know what makes people like to read about others having sex. I know to me it is a great turn on.

Perhaps people get a little bored with their own fantasies. The stories help inspire their own imaginations, give them ideas, you know what I mean?

I guess reading about it is just like watching it on tape. I think it gives us ideas, a picture in our heads, and gets the juices going. I like to read about people's first time. Some reason it gets to me more than anything else.

Reading about sex not only gives you new ideas, it's also a great escape when your real sex life is in a lull. It's better than a movie as you're able to place yourself and others you know in the story rather than watching some strangers. It's a fantasy tool, and if you have a vivid enough imagination and it's well written, you can get so turned on that one little squirm on your seat is enough to provide a release.
