Why many stay anonymous

That's something totally different. I really don't give too much of a fuck about that situation either. It just speak on it cause that could be me.

"that could be me" only because you intentionally choose to perpetually wear your racist blinders...

...because, in fact, the very same is true of any 22-year-old wannabe, regardless of skin pigmentation.

"God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;*
courage to change the things I can;*
and wisdom to know the difference." Dig?

No...

...but then, you seem to love to drink as much as you love to stick that aids dick of yours where - for the good of humanity - it doesn't belong.

Thank God it's you cockles and not your haunches...

...the globe, they say, would melt from that much more warming.

I know that you will be put up for sainthood once you've exited this earth, with all your generosity!

:rose:

It isn't my fault that they like the way I fuck. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

:rose:

Why, thank you, sister...

...but I've been informed any hope for my sainthood hinges totally upon the first time in your life you're objective.

I truly do appreciate your sincere well wishes, anyway.

:D

I see the bio, smoot studly: aids dick dancing machine...

...in your future.

I haven't been to Walmart in ages...

...can't afford it.

You?

Oh, that's why you sit outside with your laptop? Because you can't afford it. But to answer your question, I got a lil chick that work at the one in Kearney, so I have been there recently.

I can't afford a laptop, either...

This Walmart gal you're plugging...

...I've seen her before:

Is it your plan to train with the young, pretty one...

...before you take one for the homey team and do poor, old Jennifer?

Honestly, I've heard plenty of guy's nicks for their hermans...

...but I've never read a dude call his aids dick "My craft".

Eyer if I had aids I wouldn't be here. I'll be doing a bank heist or some shit.

I've been writing here for five years and that comment you posted? Not nearly as bad as many I've gotten,

But for every asshole and shitty comment there are ten times as many good ones so by shutting off comments you lose the positive remarks and let these idiots know they got the better of you.

Take the bad with the good, no one ever bitches about "OMG you are the bestest writer ever!"

This user isn't an author. They're a reader, and frequenter story commenter. :rose:

Wait, so that is the author's response to what I tend to assume was constructive feedback? That does not seem like a good plan for self-improvement.

When I read something that does not captivate me, I just start reading something else. Seems kind of a favor to tell someone, hey, this part was good, but you started losing me here...

I don't do that, but I probably should.

Okay, but it doesn't change my point, we take the bad the good and a lot of readers/commenters do get many good responses and thank yousfrom authors I send them when I see the same person commenting frequently on my work here.

I'm curious if the story in question that started this was loving wives.

It wouldn't surprise me.

Doesn't mean it was an author.

Some of the fans of authors are rabid, they will down vote other authors stories if they score higher than their favorite author or if that story bumped their authors story from a list...and in the public comments you will see readers get snarky with people who say they did not like a story that they did like.

But...the whole 'let's see you try it' message sounds like an author speaking, but who knows?

Things like that I either laugh or roll my eyes, but one way or another I forget it right after reading it, people like that I treat like background noise because that's al they are.

I have turned off all feedback, it simply isn't worth the trouble.

Does anyone still wonder why so many stay anonymous?

A lot of people like to talk shit, but fear what that may lead to. Fuck it, not everyone is going to like your stuff, don't worry about it.

That does not seem like a good plan for self-improvement.

You make the often false assumption that everyone posting stories here does so for self-improvement, and thus you are inappropriately surprised when not every author here salivates over posted criticism when self-improvement had nothing to do with why they posted the story.

Yes, it originated in the GB. Laurel moved it here sometime this morning. The "<-Moved" link is still on the first page there.
