The man decides he doesn't like to do that, so the church leaders encourage other members to apply pressure to this stubborn man. He decides to leave.

His wife however already has many friends in the church, and his kids too. Wife begs him to stay. He refuses and says he's going. He does. Wife is told that if she doesn't want any problems she better not see him until he "comes back into the fold" and "repents of his errant ways". Nobody else that he knows will talk to him or see him anymore either.

The results; he loses his family, his friends, and maybe even his home as his wife gets it. He may even suicide after losing so much.

Social pressure like this can, and frequently does, ruin people and destroy people's lives. Cults are notorious for using these tactics. Christian groups do it too.

1) The walls in the Nick Berg video are the same color as those at Abu Ghraib prison. How likely is that? Maybe 10%

2) Nick Berg is shown seated in exactly the same model of Wal-Mart produced white plastic chair as those at Abu Ghraib prison. How likely is that some kidnappers are going to use exactly the same model of chair when they could've used arm-chairs, couches, stools, a bench, or any one of over 4,000 different designs of white plastic lawn chair? Maybe the odds are getting really bad with that one, maybe about 0.00025% if we're being optimistic.

3) Nick Berg is wearing an orange jumpsuit, exactly identical in design to the US-military issued orange jumpsuits. How likely is that? Just picking orange would be 1 in 7, but a jumpsuit...that's probably 1 in 100, and it's 1 in millions that the "terrorists" would just happen to dress Nick Berg in the same design as the US-military issued orange jumpsuits as seen in photos of both Abu Ghraib prison and at Gitmo.

4) The video has been heavily edited, with time-stamp jumps of upto ELEVEN HOURS (like just when the knife attack is about to happen) while the viewpoint hasn't changed. How likely is it that the "terrorists" are going to suddenly change the camera while trying to keep in almost exactly the same pose? maybe one in thousands.

5) The video audio track has been COMPLETELY DUBBED as shown when the screaming, etc starts a full TWELVE SECONDS before anything is happening and everyone is simply posing. So, obviously the sound-track can't be trusted as being connected in any way with the events shown. How likely it is that the "terrorists" just decide to re-dub the entire sound-track of the video rather than simply recording the sound with the video and not dubbing at all? That seems more than just unlikely, it makes absolutely no sense, so let's make that 1 in a million as well.

6) When the neck is cut on any living mammal, there is ALWAYS a lot of blood everywhere. Much of it will spray about covering everything nearby. Even with a decapitated animal, the heart will keep beating for a minute or more, despite the spinal-cord being severed. Yet, not only does the knife-guy not get covered in blood, and his arms remain clean, but HIS KNIFE BLADE AND HANDS ARE ALMOST CLEAN OF BLOOD AS WELL. How likely is that? ZERO. No chance at all.

7) During the portrayed attack, the body being attacked does not struggle or resist in anyway. Now, if he was drugged into a stupor, then who is doing the screaming? Answer, nobody...the sound-track was completely dubbed remember. Neither does his face showing any sign of emotion or tension or pain. Medical forensics experts and doctors have basically said the video is a hoax, and that's a dead body being decapitated. How likely is it that "terrorists" decide to kill the victim, then try to do a beheading after the guy is dead while re-doing the sound-track to add in screaming, and all those other things mentioned? ZERO, or if we're REALLY AMAZINGLY optimistic, 1 in trillions!!!

8) In the background of the sound-track, barely audible but you can hear it if you some good big speakers and have the volume turned up LOUD, you can hear a guy say "...will be done?" How likely it is that fundamentalist "Arab terrorists" are going to speak English to each other rather the Arabic? Bloody unlikely.

Basically the Nick Berg video is a hoax.

Then the next two beheadings were equally suspicious; the victims again wearing orange US prison jumpsuits. Paul Johnson was seen being taken away by Saudi Arabian police, then he turns up in some video made my fake terrorists in an orange US prison uniform.
