Why is there so much gun violence in Chicago if it is next to impossible to legally purchase and own firearm in that city?

It just seems that the more restrictive the gun laws are, the higher the crime rates.

All I know is, the bastardex has been there for a few months and hasn't been shot yet.
So much for being dangerous

Maybe he hasn't pissed off the right batch of bangers . . . yet.

Hahaha! It'll happen.
We're talking about an overweight Aussie who thinks he's a 'rude boy' and goes around speaking 'gangsta' while wearing a leather jacket with faker badges sewn all over it

I'm guessing he got to the USA and realised he was a wannabe all along!

Prolly got to the US and realized he was an Oz-ite all along.

You really have to run with some bad boys or have some really bad fortune, or just be as dumb as field dirt, to get in a situation to be shot. Then it has to be worse to get killed.

Chicago now is more dangerous than US-occupied Baghdad was in 2003.

A few months ago, there were 23 homicides in a single day in Chicago, all involving firearms.

It is the crime and murder capital of the United States.

There is a lot of violence because Chicago is, historically, a violent place, with corrupt cops and politicians. Add to that the fact that outlawing guns is pointless, because criminals will break those laws. That's what criminals do - they break laws. If thugs are going to be robbing and killing and dealing dope, they certainly won't shy away from a little thing like illegal possession of a firearm.
