Much, much, MUCH longer than that. When I finally worked up the nerve to register and start posting, I discovered that I couldn't shut up!

One of the things pubic hair does is to wick the moisture away from the area -IMO, a positive effect - when I go totally bare, the lack of this function becomes apparent. Even just a small amount of hair keeps the skin drier by preventing secretions from building a damp layer against the skin. Since skin stays healthier when it remains dry, I consider this one of the functions of the hair there.

And in wicking that moisture away from the skin .. since there is no other place for that moisture to settle ... the result is crusty, matted pubes. Yuck.

It's one of the reasons i prefer to keep the entire area waxed & free of hair. i've never had to deal with any issues of irritation or infection of this area of the skin as a result of keeping my pussy smooth and hairless.

Healthy skin is defined as skin which is smooth, slightly pink, and slightly moist. Pubic hair serves no function other than protecting the skin from heat and cold and for some ... providing adornment. Many times hair serves in protecting skin from injury such as frostbite, windburn, and sunburn.

When speaking of eyelashes, eyebrows and nostril hair it serves to protect the eyes and inner nose/sinuses from foreign debree, parasites, head lice and bodylice as well.

Pubic hair or lack of .. is as functional or disfunctional according to a person's particular preference. Unless you are a newbie nudist ... ouch ... it does no good to keep it ... and does no harm to remove it.
