Why is my picture still pending?

I submitted a drawing called 'Attack of the Fifty Foot Camilla!' for the Literotica Illustrations section about 4 or 5 days ago, and it's still pending. Normally I have to wait only about 3 days. I don't think there's anything objectionable about the picture; it just shows a naked young woman looking down at the viewer. Why is the picture's publication taking so long?

If you look at the lists of new stories, there have been a limited number of stories getting approved each day. Everybody is waiting longer. It's not just you.

If it still doesn't post, the quickest way to get an answer is to send a PM (not an e-mail) to Laurel, the editor. There's nothing anyone on the forum can do other than commiserate with you.

Probably for the same reason---whatever it may be---that the edits I submitted over a week ago haven't appeared by now.

My over-a-week-old edit finally processed. Just a matter of it appearing on the public side now.

( Note that you should wait for 24 hours after an "edit" submission vanishes from your list before deciding something is wrong. For some reason, edits now take some time to appear on the public side of the site )

That part I knew about. But the week+ wait is new.
